All of our qualifications are nationally accredited through Active IQ and are fully recognised by employers and the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). Courses are delivered through face-to-face workshops, distance learning styles and eLearning platforms allowing students to access podcasts, webinars and video lectures.
We offer flexible learning through full time courses, part time courses, online learning and CPD (continuing professional development) courses.
As well as delivering all theory and practical education, we include training on marketing and sales techniques to help our students maximise their potential in the industry when they leave our courses.

Kias Wilkinson-Todd:
Kias has been working in the Fitness Industry for coming up to 10 years now. He’s worked as a self Employed PT as well as working for gyms. Starting out running outdoor Bootcamps, he has now moved into coaching CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. Kias started tutoring 3 years ago with us here at UFA. He has a passion for helping learners reach their potential and get the most out of their courses with us. He calls on his near decade of experience to give learners the best possible platform to learn from.
Charlie Heywood:
Charlie has worked within the Active Leisure industry for nearly 15 years, working in a range of roles including Fitness Manager, Freelance Instructor, Personal Trainer, Tutor, Assessor, Education Manager, Internal Verifier and most recently External Verifier for the leading Awarding Organisation in the sector – Active IQ.
Charlie has a wealth of experience in education and quality assurance across a range of qualifications and likes nothing more than supporting staff and learners towards achievement in this vastly growing industry.
